Heads up, anglers! Captain Mike Hoffman here with the latest fishing report straight from the waters of Surf City and North Topsail Beach. The summer conditions are in full swing: warm weather has brought in plenty of baitfish, and the Redfish have definitely noticed!
We’re seeing impressive schools of Redfish actively feeding in the shallow flats and winding backwater creeks. If you’re looking to target them, Captain Mike Hoffman recommends focusing on live bait presentations. Topwater lures at dawn and dusk are also producing some exciting strikes, and don’t forget to try your favorite swimbaits when the sun is higher. These Redfish are hungry and ready to chew!
