Captain’s Log: Post-Front Bite Heats Up!
Last week’s cold front brought some welcome relief from the heat, making for very comfortable conditions out on the water. More importantly, the change in weather has the fish fired up!
The bite has been fantastic. We are still catching lots of Redfish, with a healthy mix of slot-sized keepers and some impressive overslot reds. The Flounder action is also excellent, and we’re boating some really nice, quality fish.
The key has been sight-casting with popping corks, which is triggering some explosive strikes. The fishing is great and the weather is more comfortable, so give us a call and join in on the fun!
